PerformrACT is $8.99 per month with no free tier. The subscription covers the whole studio, including unlimited premium scene-partner voices. Cancel any time; your recordings, scripts, and materials stay on your account either way.

Questions

How does the scene partner handle subtext?

It reads the words, and you direct it. Give any line a note the way a director would: Flatter, Warmer, Sharper, Bigger, or Pull It Back. Add a hold where a moment needs room to land. Choose whether the scene waits for you to finish speaking, runs on a timer, or waits for a tap. When a line has to land exactly your way, record it in your own voice and the scene plays your recording back.

Why is there no free tier?

Because everything is included. One price, $8.99 a month, covers every tool and unlimited premium scene-partner voices, with no monthly upload caps, page limits, or per-audition fees. If you subscribe on the web and it is not for you, ask for a refund within 14 days of your payment and you get it back, for any reason.

What happens if the app crashes in the middle of a take?

Your take is saved to your device about once a second while you record. If the app closes, the tab shuts, or your phone dies mid-take, the recording is waiting the next time you open the studio, and you decide whether to keep it. If a finished take could not upload, PerformrACT tries again when your connection returns.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. There is no contract. On the web, cancel from your account settings. If you subscribed through an app store, cancel in that store’s subscription settings. You keep everything until the end of the month you paid for.

Are my sides kept private?

Yes. Scripts you upload are stored privately and used for one thing: building your rehearsal. They are never shared, never sold, never used to train anything, and never visible to anyone but you unless you share your work yourself. Delete a script and it leaves your library.
